Job Title: Senior Engineer


Job Location: Beavercreek, Ohio

Description

The ideal candidate will be familiar with testing transmissions and gearboxes in mechanical four square, and electrical regenerative test system configurations. Familiarity with helicopter transmissions is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience in writing test plans and evaluating test data and test results, leading to design and programmatic decisions. Understanding of DoD procedures and engineering requirements is desired. Position requires travel of 6-10 days per month.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred
Experience: 8-12 years experience with development and operations of industrial mechanical systems; must be a US citizen; must be eligible for a DoD secret clearance

Salary Range: $90-105K, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Title: Engineer I


Job Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Description

Performs engineering duties as a member of a technical team.  Responsible for specific work packages within a technical team. Reports to a Senior Engineer, Engineer II, or technical team leader for direction.

Minimum Qualifications/Education:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (EE, ME, or IE).  Entry-level experience performing engineering tasking, either independently with supervision, or as part of a technical team.

Salary Range: $26 - 31 / Hour

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer


Job Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Description

Lead a technology team in the installation, startup, and operation of transmission and gearbox test cells at an Army Depot.  Manage the installation of the electrical power system.  Supervise the installation of vendor-supplied test equipment and instrumentation; monitor vibration, temperature, pressure, lubricant fluid level, and quality sensors.  Support the programming of test equipment for test cycles, data collection, and analysis.  Develop and maintain an electrical system log and a correction action log; guide maintenance and production departments.  Write/edit test equipment operating procedures in Army-approved formats.  Evaluate equipment.  Train and supervise technicians and hourly staff.

Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (ME, EE), Masters Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum 10-years progressive experience in industrial plant electrical and control systems engineering. Experienced with new equipment installation and programming control equipment.

Knowledge/Skills:

Human Machine Interface software (Labview), PLC programming, instrumentation of equipment, comfortable making graphic presentations of equipment operations and software, good oral and written skills

Salary Range: $35 - 41 / Hour

Job Title: Configuration Manager


Job Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Description

Responsible for establishing and managing an approved configuration program for the Smart Transmission Test System (STTS) currently being designed and deployed by Tiburon and team at Corpus Christi Army Depot.  Must have hands-on expertise in configuration management and control for DoD systems and commercial integration into DoD systems.  Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: requirements tracking, document repository, change/revision management, issue/action item tracking, project task tracking, trades and rationale tracking, web-based capability, and security.  Requires travel of 5-10 days per month.

Minimum education/qualifications

BA in technical discipline from an accredited college; 10 years of relevant experience.

Salary Range: $50-68K/yr., depending on experience and qualifications

Job Title: Analyst II, Support to the Army Technology Transfer Program


Job Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Description

This position will support the Army Technology Transfer Program. Emphasis will be on providing support to maintaining technology transfer documentation databases within Army and Department of Defense; coordinating with Army laboratory subordinate locations; planning coordination meetings and planning technology transfer workshop breakout sessions. Routine interface with other Army and DoD technology transition programs, patent attorneys, and small and large business entities. Will require 20% travel.

May perform as technical task leader on analytical efforts and development of engineering support products for moderate to large-scale systems and programs. Supports structured analysis of company initiatives, projects, plans, approaches to determine feasibility, return on investment, schedule, and cost impacts. May be responsible for the technical execution of tasking at the system and subsystem levels. Works independently on analytical studies with little to no supervision.

Minimum qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a technical, paralegal or business discipline. Education requirement may be substituted by 8 years or more of direct relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE: Ten years experience performing increasingly more complex analysis on moderate to large-scale systems and programs. Experience as a technical task team leader with a paralegal background. Some experience with patents, patent law, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) preferred. Experience with SBA and contracts preferred. Some experience with science and technology, manufacturing technology, and technology transition programs preferred. Some operational experience with DOD weapons systems is preferred.

SKILLS: Requires familiarity with government program offices, SBA, policy, and procedures. Army/DOD background and manufacturing or technology program experience desired. Experience with Army science and technology programs a plus. Transition planning (technology transition agreements) skills desired.

OTHER: Should be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Salary Range: $40-$50/hr.; $85,000-$95,000/year
