Founded in 2001, Tiburon Associates, Inc. is a veteran-owned small business providing technical, management, and business expertise to the DoD community and the defense industry as well as engineering and technician-level support primarily to DoD depots.  We have extensive experience and expertise in developing programs that meet customer requirements and in establishing industry teams to develop and implement solutions.  We have provided services, expertise and personnel to DoD customers including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency, Missile Defense Agency, US Coast Guard, and the Office of Secretary of Defense.  From the Command Office to the Depot Level, Tiburon Associates understands the customer’s needs and positions our resources to achieve program success.  We are actively supporting the reconditioning and repair of machinery and vehicles especially those coming back from combat zones.

Tiburon Associates’ expertise and understanding of the defense industry allows us to offer quick reaction customer support for acquisition, logistics, technical and administrative requirements.  These elements are critical to meeting program objectives, which include achieving production goals, optimizing lean activities, developing cost avoidance/savings programs, and successfully implementing strategic business plans.  We have structured our administrative processes to enable rapid response to customer needs including efficient and timely subcontracting.

Tiburon Associates has the demonstrated ability to manage, assess, and improve technical organizations and projects involving a wide range of technologies.  We have participated in numerous government and industry forums on manufacturing and the industrial base and have provided strategic planning support for improving manufacturing capabilities.
